Song I'm Jamming To

When I find a song I love, I will play it on repeat for a few days. Right now my favorite CD is Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, the whole CD is amazing. The beginning of this video is pretty weird, but once you get past that the song is love.

Decisions, Decisions

Instead of going out tonight, I decided to be a homebody. Lucky for me my night started out with Bridget Jones Diary and some fun budget making! I'm ready to move somewhere else, I just can not decide where I would like to move. So far my choices are New Orleans, Austin, Boulder, Brooklyn, or somewhere in the Northwest. My dream city would not get cold, have mountains so I can go hiking, be a big city with a unique vibe. So here's to a Saturday night at home, just me, my pup, and my pina colada.

Look of the Day

This outfit is the perfect example of how to transition from Summer into Fall, she's rocking two of fall's biggest trends- leopard and camel.

I'm obsessed with leopard everything- I'm on the hunt for the perfect leopard coat. If you love her leopard wedges Jeffery Campbell's similar wedge will not break that bank, costing around $140. I've already picked up these Steve Madden Ulltra priced at $89. For a tall gall like me, I like that its 3 inch heel will not make me tower over everyone.

I love adding a blazer over a mini-dress! It's a great way to extend your Spring dresses into Fall and save you some money (and how doesn't love that!). It's also a great way to hide arms, if you're having a "fat arm day." And the wool beret screams, "bring on the cooler weather!"

Bonjour Pearls and Oxfords Readers!

Who am I?

An avid blog fashion reader, who now reads over ten fashion blogs a day! This obsession most likely surpasses the normal, unhealthy relationship we all have with Facebook. I am a twenty-something, living 30 minutes away from the fabulous city of New Orleans, and am aspiring to make it in the fashion world.
I love my morning cups of coffee while watching VH1 music videos, riding my bike around to our quaint downtown, and getting dolled up to go out with friends while consuming three to many Gin and Tonics.
With this blog, I hope to inspire others with amazing trends, show you bits and pieces of my life (only the interesting parts, I promise), show you bands I love and I hope you will too. Maybe dabble in food, arts, literature, and anything else under the sun.

Have a lovely afternoon!
